“A tree against the sky possesses the same interest, the same character, the same expression as the figure of a human. – George Rouault”. (French painter)

I hope your Thursday is filled with the joy of discovering something new and fresh in this incredible world of ours!

I rendered my 38”x48” acrylic aspen tree painting with brush and palette knife.  I closed my eyes and mused on one of my trips to Colorado, where the blue azure sky against the dancing white aspen trees ignite a flame of inspiration.  The title of this painting is, “Resilient Beauty”.  It hangs in the home of one of my patrons.  However, a limited edition hand-embellished giclee is available to purchase.  I also paint commissions.  I love to paint commissions!  Email me, CLICK HERE.

"A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease". - John Muir

My summer aspen tree acrylic palette knife painting is titled, "Eye Of The Beholder". The fallen trees represent those in our lives who are no longer with us, but will forever remain in our hearts and minds.  As John Muir says, "These trees are now silent, but their songs never cease." This painting is available to purchase!  Or, commission a painting of your own.

Why commission a painting with me?  Because you'll get the size painting you're looking for with the colors and subject matter that you want.  You'll own a one-of-a-kind original that will make a unique statement for your home or office.  Most importantly, you're going to get a painting that you love!  See my website for details. www.JillSaurFineArt.com

Four feet tall by three feet wide, my original acrylic fall aspen tree painting on canvas is titled, "Sequestered Dream".  I was inspired to paint this after one of my trips to beautiful Eastern Colorado, where some of the largest aspen trees in America grow.

This painting is loaded with texture and has a beautiful glow during the daytime hours. In the evening it simply radiates with light!  This work of art is destined to be the focal point for someones beautiful home or place of business.  Is it you?  Contact me: CLICK HERE

"The earth is the LORD'S and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers." Psalm 24: 1-2

"Abstracted Daydream", is the title of my newly painted, 16"x20" acrylic palette knife painting, depicting an aspen forest at the edge of a river.  My painting was inspired by Psalm 24.  I'm continually amazed at the beauty and grandeur of all that God has made.

Summer Aspen Tree Painting

summer aspen tree painting
Aspens in Summer Painting by Jill Saur, all rights reserved

I'm hoping to return to Colorado this year.  The beautiful white aspen trees display their white trunks against a sea of emerald greens and cobalt blue skies.  This is where I find inspiration for my paintings.

I sold this little 12"x12" acrylic painting, "Dawns Serenade", to a patron here in Atlanta.  I'm deeply grateful to those who collect and appreciate my work.  Thank you!
